1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Boardmaster (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, hosts, and participants.

2. Eligibility

You must meet all of the following requirements to use Boardmaster:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.
• Not be prohibited by any applicable law from participating in prize-pool games or peer-to-peer competitions.
• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account.

3. How the Platform Works

Boardmaster is a peer-to-peer competition platform. Hosts create games; participants join by staking an entry fee. All stakes are pooled and distributed to winners upon resolution. Boardmaster does not act as a bookmaker or take positions on any outcome.

A platform base fee and an optional host margin are deducted from the prize pool before distribution. These fees are displayed clearly before any stake is placed.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN and account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@boardmaster.live if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts may result in permanent suspension.

5. Stakes, Payouts, and Refunds

• All stakes are final once placed. You may not withdraw a stake after submission.
• Winning payouts are sent directly to your registered MoMo number or bank account via Paystack Transfer.
• If a game is voided or cancelled by the platform, a full refund is issued. The platform absorbs transaction costs on all refunds it initiates.
• Boardmaster is not liable for delays caused by mobile money operators or payment processors.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Collude with other participants to manipulate game outcomes.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other non-human means to interact with the Platform.
• Attempt to circumvent any security feature or restriction.
• Create games with the intent to defraud participants.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of funds, and referral to relevant authorities.

7. Host Responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for accurately describing their games, setting fair rules, and resolving games in good faith. Boardmaster reserves the right to void any game and refund participants if a host acts in bad faith or violates these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Boardmaster shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you staked in the relevant transaction.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
